Momentum Ski Camp Photo: Momentum Ski CampThis summer 2010 will be the 19th year of operating Momentum Ski Camps on the Blackcomb Glacier, on top of the world in Whistler, Canada, home of the 2010 Winter Olympics. Over these years the Camp has been a big part of the wild evolution of skiing. From twister spread to double cork 12’s, Freestyle skiing today is alive with a vengeance and summer camp is where most of this innovation was conceived and created. Today they continue to lead and feed this sport in the safest manner with new enthusiasm, inspired from coach to athlete.

The focus since the camp’s inception has been to make sure that when you come to Momentum you have one of your best life experiences and more importantly, leave a much better skier then when you arrived. The record and list of former campers who have gone on to become the new best skiers in the world is unmatched by any camp. The formula is simple, using the best skiers in the world to teach you. This has become easier over the years as many of the coaches, who are now Olympians, World Cup Skiers and top pros, were former campers themselves and understand what it takes to create an unforgettable camp experience.

Getting the best coaches has always been the mandate at Momentum Ski Camps. Besides Olympic Freestyle Skier Alex Bilodeau, the first Canadian to win a gold medal on home soil, the coaching staff this summer will include Vincent Marquis who placed 4th at the Olympic Games this year, as well as a veritable who's who of the best freeride pro skiers including Sarah Burke, TJ Schiller, Colby West, Peter Olenick, Mike Riddle and Justin Dorey. Check out the full coaches listing here.
