King of Wake Releases 2010 Schedule
Get ready for the world's best pro wakeboarding series, which kicks off this April. King of Wake has announced where and when the most elite pro wakeboarders will compete for the crown.
King of Wake has announced that they will start and close its 2010 series at the Orlando Watersports Complex in Orlando, Fla.
The series is scheduled to start with the Wake Games on April 29-May 2 and the season comes to a close on Aug. 19-22 with the WWA World Championships.
The Pro Wakeboard Tour features five stops, commencing on May 22 in Acworth, Georgia. The Pro Tour then continues on to Fort Worth, Texas on June 12, Elizabethtown, Kentucky on June 19, Colorado Springs, Colorado on July 24 and concludes in Knoxville, Tennessee on August 14.
The WWA National Championships, held in the greater Reno area of Sparks, Nevada on July 14-18, will be followed by the Chase for the Crown.
The Chase limits the King of Wake crown to the top 10 riders in the standings midway through the season. Only the 10 riders involved in the Chase will have their point totals adjusted and have the remaining three stops to fight it out for the King of Wake crown.
The overall winner will be crowned at the 2010 King of Wake Awards.

German wake stars like Freddy von Osten, Andy Kolb and Stephan Flamm dominate the rankings of the WWA Europe Wake Park Series 2009.
The dates and locations are in for the 2010 WWA Wake Park World Series. In its third year, this is the first series of its kind with an international field of professional wakeboarders setting up against their competitors at cable parks throughout the world.
