Bernd Flessner wins his 13. title as German Windsurfing Champion

During five days of exciting windsurfing action, the 100.000 visitors witnessed one more time Bernd Flessners leading position in the German Windsurfing scene. For the 13th time in a row he finished the national season as the best windsurfer.

At the German Windsurfing Championships five slalom eliminations and five racings were held at best wind and weather conditions.

The Volvo Surf Cup Sylt is the national top-event and peak of the DWC competition schedule (German Windsurf Cup). Traditionally, it takes place in Westerland at Sylt on the last weekend of July. In 2008 this wass 23. to 27. July. Then the best national and international windsurfers come together during the five-days-event to fight for the German Champion’s title in the disciplines racing, slalom and wave-freestyle.
