PWA Ulsan World Cup 2010: Standby On Day 4 In Korea
Day 4 is yet another disappointment for competitors and fans at the 2010 PWA Ulsan World Cup in Korea. With heavy rain and no winds, all they can do is wait for better weather.
The fourth day of the 2010 PWA Ulsan World Cup in Korea has been delayed due to inclement weather at Jinha beach.
Day four was greeted by rain and a complete lack of wind, crushing the organizer’s hopes that good weather would pass through the Sea of Korea.
Competitors spent the day avoiding the rain in their hotel rooms or the equipment tents. After another frustrating day on standby, race director, Juan Antonio Aragon, made the call at 5:00pm.
After two consecutive days of delayed competition, the surfers have rebuilt their strength and recovered from the earlier races in the week. Now, they are definitely ready for some action.
The forecasts for the next few days look promising. With any luck, the winds will return and the action of the 2010 PWA Ulsan World Cup will continue in Korea.
