O'Neill Pantin Classic: Sodre leads international field to finals

Pressure rose upon those in contention for the title as the ASP WQS 5-Star O’Neill Pantin Classic got closer to its end with all quarterfinalists decided in the eight foot (2.5 meter) surf on offer at Pantin today.

Magnum Martinez leads round 4 of Vans El Ponto Loco

The Vans El Ponto Loco continued today with the completion of Round 4. The ASP North America Pro Junior Series Grade-2 event completed the first two rounds of competition today in the decreasing two-to-three foot (1metre) swell.

The expected massive swell hit Pantin on Day 4 of competition and the ASP World Qualifying Series Women and Men's events faced some of the biggest conditions ever surfed on the European leg paddling out in eight to eleven foot waves to try and advance.

ASP Boost Mobile Pro starts this weekend

Despite being a rookie on the ASP World Tour, Dane Reynolds (USA), 22, will paddle out for his fifth installment of the Boost Mobile Pro this week. The event waiting period begins this Sunday, Sept. 7 and stretches until Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008.

Billabong Pro Junior: big scores posted on day 2

The Vans El Ponto Loco continued today, completing Round 2 and Round 3 of competition in two-to-four foot surf. Only 32 of the event’s top performers remain in the ASP World Qualifying Series 2-Star event, the sixth of nine ASP WQS contests held in North America.
