Big Park mini shred Contest of the Kaunertal Opening

On Saturday 30 freeskiers and 30 snowboarders composed of pro’s, rookies and „Lucky Chicks & Bastards“ took part at the competition of the 23rd Kaunertal Opening – it was a long and exciting day.

The run on the spots of the starting list was amazing this year. No wonder, as everybody had the chance to catch a spot on the pro riderslist and to compete against some of their idols.

The headjudges Nico Zacek (freeski) and Bernd Egger (snowboard) agreed that the level of the contest was very high. After the qualifications the following riders took the titles and all in all USD 8.000,- home with them.
