Going for it’s sixth sequel this autumn, the Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam as usual takes place on the second weekend of november and is already a real institution for many snowboarders to start their season.

Whether you call it a “big lifestyle event”, “an important sports competition”, or a “partylineup”, you are never wrong. The Pleasure Jam has it all, and that’s why everybody likes it. This time, QParks, Europe’s leading Snowpark–agency and the organizers of this event, did a big step forward by making the Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam the European TTR World Snowboard Tour kick–off. A price money purse of 20.000 USD awaits the winners of the slopestyle competition!

From the 7th to the 9th of November 2008, all snowboard maniacs should get ready for the sixth edition of the Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam in the Atomic Superpark on the Dachstein Glacier. This year the Contest is going to be upgraded to a TTR World Snowboard Tour 4 Star Event, which shows it’s importance in the european snowboard scene. Apart from the 20.000 Dollars price money the participants will also compete for some special awards like a 3-week-surftrip to Bali, which includes the flight and a stay at the famous Balicamp!

Over the past few years, the Dachstein Glacier with its famous Atomic Superpark became a mecca for the domestic and international freestylescene. It is considered as one of the best and most innovative snowparks all over Europe, and has its doors open in spring, summer and autumn. Like always, parkdesigner Bernd Mandlberger and his shape crew, will get the best out of the Setup for this special happening. From channel gaps and tree bonks up to wallrides and various boxes, the set up offers lots of premium-obstacles for all riding levels.
