Tom Wallisch wins Dew Tour 2009 at Northstar
Tom Wallisch is back on track: After a collarbone fracture in December Tom was forced to take a break from riding for over a month. Tom entered the contest in Tahoe with a wildcard and won.
It seems that this pause wouldn’t have any impact on his riding: Tom was slightly “über-motivated” in his first run.
“I was so stoked to be at such a big contest, all that TV coverage and a huge crowd” he mentioned during the award ceremony. But for his second run he took it “easier”, fixed all his mistakes and finally ended up on top of the podium.
Tom Wallisch took the top spot with major rail trickery, including a misty 6 off the canon rail. Simon Dumont came in 2nd place very closely to Tom’s score, Alexis Godbout from Quebec ended up 3rd.

The Iron Night 2009 was a veritable success in all respects. 126 starters participated highly motivated at Crystal Ground – Snowpark Kleinwalsertal and provided a thrilling competition for the approximately 2.000 spectators and fans.
