Surprisingly, the runners up were both rookies, Gjermund Braaten, (NOR) in second place, and Roope Tonteri (FIN) in third at the 5Star Burn River Jump. The biggest climber in the TTR Ranking, with a 5th place is Janne Korpi (FIN) who now sits in World No. 4.

Perfect conditions at the Mottolino Park in Livigno, Italy let the guys show off on the flawlessly shaped Mottolino park. Willett's winning run included a Switch Backside 1260, Frontside Double Cork 1080 and a Backside Double Rodeo, which scored him miles ahead of his opponents.

His victory moved him up in the Swatch TTR world ranking list into No.11 and with tomorrow's format he has lined himself up in an excellent position to move into the Top 10.

"The jumps were perfect and I had a good feeling…It would be a dream come true for me to be in the TTR Top 5. I got one more contest tomorrow, so we will see how that goes. But just being in the Top 10 is so great," said Gjermund.

The second 5Star format, the straight air, will take place in the center of Livigno on Friday. This time, the contestants will be jumping over the Spoel river. Competing for those valuable Swatch TTR ranking points, we will see the qualified riders from today's slopestyle, 12 wild card entrants and 8 invited riders.
