40 riders competed at the Ante Up and each of them had their eyes set on the $50,000 prize purse and 850 TTR ranking points. The Canadian athletes made their compatriots proud as they filled the podium, with Sebastien Toutant claiming first place, Matts Kulisek in second, and Mark McMorris in third.

Sebastien Toutant won the first place with a flawless Cab 1260 double cork.
“Winning the first 5Star TTR big air contest was just amazing," said Toutant. "It was an epic final and it’s sick because I’ll be in the top of the TTR rankings going down to New Zealand in August.”
Matts Kulisek won $10,000 for his frontside 1260 double cork and Mark McMorris took $6,000 for his backside 1260 double cork variation.
