2011 LG Snowboard FIS World Cup Will Visit Valmalenco, Italy

The season’s third to last snowboard cross and second to last parallel giant slalom of the 2011 Snowboard FIS World Cup are scheduled in a little mountain village located in the Sondrio Province.

Halfpipe World Cup leaders Xuetong Cai and Ryo Aono win Calgary event

Xuetong Cai and Ryo Aono have won the season’s fourth halfpipe contest, which wrapped up today’s double event at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary, thus extending their lead in the race for the Crystal Globe.

Carroll and Schattschneider victorious at Calgary Slopestyle

Allyson Carroll (USA) and Clemens Schattschneider (AUT) have won the 2011 Snowboard FIS World Cup season’s first slopestyle competition held today at Canada Olympic Park, Calgary.

Jacobellis and Baumgartner claim victory at Stoneham Snowboard Cross

The US-American team has dominated the season’s fourth snowboard cross. While Lindsey Jacobellis had her way in the women’s final in Stoneham, Quebec, her fellow countryman Nick Baumgartner was victorious in the men’s field.

Jamie Anderson Takes TTR World Tour Lead At Burton European Open

Roope and Jamie took home a nice chunk of the $125,000 USD prize purse, in addition to securing their spots to compete in the 2012 World Snowboarding Championships taking place in Oslo, Norway in February 2012.
