X-Games winner Pierre Luc Gagnon in Berlin
Sportive peak power and the world’s best skateboarders in Berlin! The T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds at the Velodrom present the only World Cup of Skateboarding event 2008 in Germany.
Meeting point Berlin. The T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds in November 29th and 30th at the Velodrom in Berlin is marked as the highlight in the tour calendars of the international skateboard scene. Whoever qualified for this event has to face one of the most challenging events in the world.
28 set riders will compete for the title at the Street Session 2008. Halfpipe-wise there will be big names like the current skateboard champ Pierre Luc Gagnon (CAN), vice winner of the Action Sports Championships 2008 Danny Mayer (USA), the Australian pro Renton Millar, the American X-Games heroes Alex Perelson and Adam Taylor as well as the hero from Berlin, Jürgen Horrwarth.
The challenging street course will be the playground for this year’s X-Games winner Dayne Brummet (USA), the Brazilian X-Games vice champ Rodolfo Ramos who placed 3rd at the Action Sports world championships last weekend in Seattle, Thomas Vintr who placed 3rd at the X-Games, German master Alex Mizurov (GER), Phil Zwijsen (BE) and the 14-year-old prodigy from Belgium, Axel Cruysberghs.
The last two events were sold out. So you better get your tickes as soon as possilbe. The tickets for the finals and the concerts on Sunday, November 30th, are available at the pre-sales for 19 Euros plus charges. Smart spenders can buy the 5-friends-ticket which gets one person in for free, i. e. 76 Euros plus charges. Each ticket includes a free ride to the event and back (BVG & DB trains, 2nd class). On Saturday, November 29th, tickets will be available at the box office only and cost 5 Euros.

New riders for World Cup of Skateboarding event confirmed
Being the only World Cup of Skateboarding event in Germany for 2008 and with world class BMX riders competing on both street and vert, the T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds will host some more extreme sports stars.
