Mountainboard Camp 2009 in Willingen

The Mountainboard Camp in Willingen organised by ATB Germany will be an event not to be missed. The camp is open to everyone who fancies a few days on the slopes of the legendary Bike Park Willingen.

Now, as most snow has disappeared and the sun is announcing the beginning of the summer, it is time to head to the Mountainbike Park in Willingen (GER) for the Boarder Camp.

The Boarder Camp is for all mountainboarders who would like to ride and chill out in a relaxed atmosphere. The aim of the camp is to improve techniques, learn new tricks and have fun amongst fellow boarders. Beginners are also welcome.

The Park is set on the hilly slopes of Willingen and originally build for fast downhill mountainbiking. For the Mountainboard Summer Camp riders can choose between a four-man boarder-X track as well as a 400meter Downhill track and to top it all there is  the 2.8 kilometre long Freeride which is awesome.

There is a chair lift for easy ascent and a beginners slope too.

Costs:
Camping: Tend or Van will be € 10 for non members of the ATB Germany and € 8 for members.

For those who haven't got their own equipment: Board hire and tuition will be € 15 for non members of the ATB Germany and € 10 for members.

There is a swimming pool close by where showers cost € 1.

Everyone will have to organise their own food but there are shops and restaurants close by. Bring your tent and all other stuff you need for a four day mountainboard adventure in Willingen.
