Four-time Champion Nate “The Destroyer” Adams and Two-time Defending Champion Mike Mason are preparing for the most intense head-to-head battles between the world’s top motocross pros at the 2011 ASA World Championships of Freestyle Motocross.
The best FMX aerialists in the industry, including two-time defending champion Mike Mason and four-time FMX World Champion Nate “the Destroyer” Adams, have qualified to compete in a series of head-to-head battles for the title of 2011 World Champion of Freestyle Motocross.
In 2010, Adams was in position to capture his 5th World Championships trophy, but in the final round he met Mike Mason (and a few mechanical problems with his bike) that lead to Mason’s winning his second World Championships title in a row.
Adams and Mason will have to contend with a full field of the world’s top pros that have qualified for this prestigious contest, including stars such as Taka Higashino, Levi Sherwood, Todd Potter, Mat Rebeaud, Dany Torres, Rob Adelberg, Wes Agee and many more.
This unique head-to-head contest in LA County is sure to be filled with the full-throttle intensity that makes these pros the best in the world.
“The progression in freestyle motocross over the past few years has been nothing short of incredible”, said Rick Bratman, CEO of ASA Entertainment Group, the event’s owner and producer. “Fans will not believe what these pros can do on a dirt bike with 100’ back-flip variations, 360’s, no-handed tricks and so much more.”
Nate Adams pulled out the big guns in Poznan to claim the victory and his 18th career podium in the 10-year history of the Red Bull X-Fighters. The American didn’t give his title rival, Dany Torres of Spain, any chance in the final.
Tom Fooshee and Mark Webb made the crowds roar as the pulled off awe-inspiring feats at the 2011 Telekom Extreme Playgrounds event. The world's best extreme sport athletes flock to this unique competition to show off their skills.
